Role Overview:
Assistant German Teacher supports language instruction (A1-B2) and cultural education, assisting senior teachers in lesson delivery, assessments, and student support within BiUH’s framework.
Key Responsibilities:
? Assist in teaching German grammar, vocabulary, and communication skills via trial structured lessons and interactive activities.
? Prepare materials, evaluate progress through quizzes/participation, and provide tutoring/exam prep (e.g., Goethe exams).
? Collaborate on curriculum updates, share resources, and participate in training/peer observations.
? Maintain inclusive classrooms and pursue professional development in language teaching trends.
Requirements:
? Advanced German (C1/C2), working proficiency in English.
? Master in German Studies, Education, DaF/DaZ, or a related field (current/recent graduates eligible).
? 1 year teaching/tutoring experience (internships/ volunteer work accepted).
? Basic digital teaching tool familiarity; exposure to international education preferred.
