The Head of Student Affairs Office is a strategic leadership role responsible for shaping the overall student experience and fostering a supportive campus environment. This position oversees all non-academic aspects of student life, including welfare services, extracurricular activities, discipline, and student development programs. As a key liaison between students and administration, the role ensures student needs are met while maintaining institutional standards and policies. The position significantly impacts student retention, campus culture, and the institution's reputation by creating an engaging, inclusive, and safe learning environment.
Strategic Leadership & Institutional Development
?Formulate and execute student affairs strategies in way that is aligned with the institution’s mission.
? Lead, mentor, and assess the Student Affairs team
? Manage budgets and resource allocation.
? Report departmental performance and contribute to institutional policy-making.
Student Support & Holistic Development
? Design and run programs to support students’ academic success, mental health, leadership, and career readiness.
? Address grievances, discipline, and conflicts about fairness and confidentiality.
? Organize orientation, workshops, and activities to foster inclusion and engagement.
Policy Compliance & Crisis Management
? Ensure compliance with legal/institutional policies; update handbooks and conduct codes.
? Develop emergency response protocols and deliver safety/compliance training.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
? Partner with academic departments, counseling/health services, and external organizations.
? Advocate for student needs in decision-making; liaise with parents, alumni, and community stakeholders.
? Language: Fluency in English (both written and spoken).
? Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in Student Affairs or Higher Education Administration, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
? Education: Master's Degree or above in Education, Psychology, Higher Education Administration or related field with international educational background or overseas work experience
